Wow, I am embarrassed. A month since my last post! Sorry friends....what can I say, I just am busy with life I guess. I promise I will close the gap between posts next time. In the meantime, I will try to hit on some big items, but there is way too much to remember.Yesterday was Easter, and that is full of all kinds of awesome. He is Risen. Jesus is my Best Friend….well tonight. Tomorrow it will probably be Heidi or someone. I share the love. We had a great Easter. We went to church Saturday night, which totally confused me, but it was fun nonetheless. And BONUS, we got to go to Evan and Zach's house afterward to eat pizza and play. I always love visiting them. Then yesterday we woke up and found our Easter baskets, and tons of eggs that were all over the backyard!! We got some candy and a kite.

Oh, and my first bat and ball. Dad says I am a natural already. So now I want to start tee ball, but I am in soccer at school, in process of trying to get in swimming lessons, and starting gymnastics in June (I had a SUPER fun time at my trial session, but I couldnt get in till then), and still hoping to do dance when it is available. So as you can see, my social calendar could potentially be full. Sorry, I digress…. we went to go watch the Go Big Royals after lunch so that I could get some pointers for my hitting skills from the pros. I was going to go run the bases after the game, but I was so tired (darn game is during nap time)…maybe next time. I had a lot of fun there too. Climbing up and down the chairs and bothering people that sat around us.
Seriously worn out!

Some proof of my singing skills….during EVERY trip in the car.
Before Easter we had other Easter fun. We went over to Mason's house for a fun egg hunt and lots of playing. We also decorated eggs at home. They kept trying to move far away from me, something about how that wasn't whip cream, but shaving cream and I'm not suppose to eat it. Ugh, they are NO fun. Come on, I'm a growing girl!

Speaking of, since last post….I did go to the doctor for my 18 month check up. It was pretty routine, they act all nice to me and then stick a bunch of needles in me. I weighed in at 22lbs 10oz and measured up at 30 1/4" (mom says that was a generous measurement too). But I guess I was the same weight as Amelia, but an inch shorter. Height may not be on my side, it appears. The doc compared us a lot. Apparently minus that inch, Heidi has been a carbon copy of me as far as ailments, timing of doing things, etc. We'll see if she can keep up. The doc was super impressed that I wrote everyones name while we were in there. She had nurses come in and check my handiwork. Little does she know my obsession with writing, drawing, & coloring.

We met another baby a couple weeks back too. Little Ava's new baby brother Henry. We met them at Chick-fil-A, for some dinner and playing. All these babies. I hear mom talk about how glad they are that I have got so big and now like sleep like Amelia. We now usually sleep in till 8 ish on weekends. (I try to sleep longer if they let me. They woke me up at 9:15 this weekend….so not cool!). But when we do wake up, we have FUN.
As you can see, we are thoroughly enjoying all the nice spring weather!![]() |

As we wait for some rain to get here, remember it is dry outside….stay safe! Heidi & Amelia OUT!
Shopping fun...
