Ok, just kidding come back here…and read my blog! I realized I better hurry up and get to writing this blog before I forget all the details of the past few weeks. Admittedly, my memory is starting to fade. I mean, I am just 1 week from turning 5.

I will start back with the most excitement for sure. We made a road trip to NE, we started off with a 24hr visit with Elmo where she taught me to sew. I loved it! She also finished up making my flower girl dress extra special for me….just in time to take it to show Aunt Rhonda. As we headed off to our bi-annual present from Nana & Papa…the Steffen Family Getaway…or Get Away, as these cool shirts say. It was SO fun. Anytime getting to see all my cousins, uncles, etc. is so great, I don't care what I'm doing. But let me list just some of the awesomeness that was our trip to Mahoney. 1. We stayed in cabins...and Brian, Mallorie, & Danielle stayed with us!
I was quite insistent that I was going to sleep with Uncle Brian. But that didn't get to last long as dad realized he leaves a TV on the entire time and well... I guess me staring wide eyed at a TV all night does not = sleep.
I slept in a bunk bed (sometimes Heidi did)...we had lots of fun with outside activities:
Motorcycle riding (I did get a tiny ride).

Playing bags, eating ice cream, I raced Jack...because I am SO fast. But he beat me. I was none too happy. I will get him next time. Lots of walks with papa. Meaning he pushed us around on his fancy walker he got since he just had hip surgery. It was SO cool!

We spent a lot of time at the water park. Well until Rhonda got knocked out in the crazy wave pool (that I LOVED by the way). It was very scary...BUT I always knew I had something special with her. Turns out we are stitches buddies!
There was also a big sand volleyball tournament. But Heidi and I didn't get to play, so we cheered everyone on and played!

One of my favorite things we did was go to the art center where we got to paint figurines. Jay even joined us. I painted a beautiful rainbow butterfly. It might just be that all drawings I do contain rainbows. The funny thing about that....I still have yet to see one. I am on a mission though! Side note: dad is a bit concerned that I have to turn my butterfly on my dresser so it looks in every night and out every morning. Maybe I just want to make sure she sleeps too? Come on dad....

We went to the SAC museum and checked out some big planes. It was a lot of fun. yeah, yaya and I even flew one. See?

We also went to a little Royals game. I guess they are called the Storm Chasers. Where I finally got on the big screen. I try at Kaufmann all the time, with no luck thus far. And I got a ball = exciting...then snuck up on by a mascot = terrifying.
On our way out of town we went through the zoo's 'safari'. But there were no safari animals. It was more like a Nebraska safari. But we did get to see owls! Oh, and the bears were really cool.

All the Grandkids - well missing Zach…he is suppose to be getting photo shopped in my Rhonda

Immediately upon getting home, I realized the rest of my babies must have missed me so much. so I spent some quality time reading to them.

We finally got to go see Stephanie and meet Davis' new baby brother, Brady. He was so cute. I really liked him. I guess Davis doesn't feel the same. He is more into trucks. I like babies….maybe I do need a baby sister/brother.
Just a little modeling for my sister. This is my 'thinking' face.

Of course we have to show you a few pictures from our trip yesterday to FROZEN on Ice! It was AH-Mazing. Dad says it was EX-pensive. But worth it all if you ask me. I even got my face painted for my birthday! And maybe slept on my back last night, so I could wear it all day today. I sang and danced like a fool. Ate lots of cotton candy and sang more. It was enthralling. I admit I didn't think I wanted to go before. But I loved it, I'm glad mommy talked me into it. AND little Ava rode with us. Aren't us 3 princesses beautiful?

And of course we must leave you with some Royals pictures. This might have to be our Christmas card picture don't you think?

I will leave you with this beautiful rendition of the 7th inning stretch performed by us at the last Royals game we went to. Seriously, they should let us lead the crowd!
Amelia OUT!
