Anyway, the week before the whole work thing happened, we headed to Lincoln so mom could go to her 20th class reunion. We got to join her in one of the outings to the Children's museum. We met some of her old friend's and their kids. But mainly we just played with daddy while she talked. That place is fun! We spent the rest of our time there with Elmo. We had lots of fun playing with her.
The next day mom just wanted to sleep, but we were too excited to go see papa and swim in his pool. He got some pizza for us and we also got to see Uncle Mike and finally meet our cousin Miranda. We had so much fun with them all. Needless to say we were exhausted when it came to nap time.

Dad spent some time working in Hastings, NE, so we road tripped west to hang out in the hotel. AND get to see my godmother Sonja and her family. That's right. We finally made it out to Kearney to see her parents house and their own little lake. I think Sonja called it, "redneck water park", I just called it cool. They had a rope swing, zip line, paddle boats, etc. We had so much fun. Xena and Bo were so brave, jumping off the big rope. But so were we. Check us out going off the diving board!

So after we took a break inside for a while we came back out and guess who showed up? Cousin Siera and Aunt Rhonda! They swam with us for a while too! So fun. Sonja had dinner plans so we said our goodbyes and then went out to a yummy dinner with Rhonda & Siera (& daddy!). We had so much fun, that they decided to come back to Hastings for a girls night. Actually us 'little' girls hung with dad.
You would think we had enough excitement for the week, but we decided to stop back through Lincoln on our way home and go to the zoo with Elmo. We had a lot of fun…. until…..Heidi decided to take a header out of the mini van onto the concrete.
After blood, tears, and a trip to urgent care, and 4 staples to her head…..we finally made it back. Yes, an eventful week to say the least!
Not a lot more to report on, we continue to cheer on our Royals (who are 8 games up!). For some reason everyone around me thinks it is pretty impressive that I know all the players names and give play by plays. They don't mind it when I yell "Go (insert player name), you can do it" in their ear every time someone is up to bat. the last game we went to was SO hot. The last game we went to was SO hot. You see, I resorted to taking selfies of my blue tongue. We were able to talk mom into some ice cream on that hot night!
Unfortunately, my tee-ball season has ended. And after much pondering, I chose to do dance over fall ball. I figure I will play next summer. Maybe the boys can catch up to my skills by then! :) Since we missed the team/indiv photos when we were out of town, mom took a few unofficial shots of me. And dad showed me the proper way to pose with our medal!

All right, that is enough for now. Amelia OUT!
